The WeTri Triathlon Junior Racing Team is one of the top junior triathlon team’s in the USA ~ as measured by athlete progress and top USAT Nationally ranked athletes and racing results.

The WeTri Triathlon Team focuses on age groups 14 – 25 U25 who are dedicated towards personal progress in triathlon racing (focusing on draft legal)

High Performance Elite team is for athletes looking to achieve National and International titles in Triathlon

High school & College team sports:  It is common for our development team athletes to be on their High School or College team as well in a single sport ie:  Cross Country, Track, Swim, Water Polo, Mountain Bike and so forth.  Our development team is ideal for athletes who participate in a single sport who are interested in trying out triathlon and eventually working towards our High Performance Racing Team.

College Triathlon Club:  You can still train very effectively if you are currently on your College Triathlon Team (club).  You will be given personalized  training and coaching through training peaks and calls that will compliment your current triathlon club training in order to get you to your highest goals.

How to join the team: 

Contact Coach Kirsten directly and receive more information about the team.  Athletes who are interested in joining the team will be invited to join 3 team sessions so they can get a good idea of what our awesome team is like.  Also, Parents and Athletes will meet Coach Kirsten to discuss the interests schedule and goals of the athlete.

What is training?  

Training sessions are designed around the athletes on the team their level of triathlon and the races we are training for. Kinds of sessions: 

  • Skills training
  • Race specific training
  • Speed and strength training
  • Endurance training
  • Nutrition / mental game / race strategy / recovery training
  • Lots of triathlon training sessions with more than one sport in them
  • We also have socials, cheer on teammates at races and do other fun things

Location:  Remote Training or Local Training 

Local Training –  most sessions are either in Rocklin, Roseville or Folsom depending on the type of session or time of year More serious athletes are given training assignments to do on their own on top of team training sessions ie running etc

Swim training takes place at Johnson Ranch Racquet Club in Roseville

Coach Kirsten:  Kirsten is an experienced and successful  Triathlon Coach for Junior Triathletes in this age group.   Coach Kirsten is particularly successful at Coaching Juniors.  Our Junior athletes are continually surprising themselves by creating personal records and achieving awesome racing success.  Read more about Coach Kirsten

Guidelines for joining the team: 

  • Athlete must be genuinely motivated to achieve higher level triathlon racing results
  • Athlete must be able to dedicate themselves to the focus and lifestyle necessary to sustain quality training
